At CDARS we have our own crisis helpline to assist our clients when they feel overwhelmed by a sense of hopelessness outside of normal working hours. Our Crisis Helpline Support is a crucial component in supporting our clients with mental health or substance abuse issues.
7 days per week, from 10.00 am to 10.00 pm, we have someone at the end of a telephone who can provide confidential, non-judgemental, emotional support for people experiencing feelings of distress or despair, loneliness or isolation and thoughts of self-harm or suicidal ideation.
Our crisis helpline is staffed by members of staff and fully trained volunteers who can help support you if you are in crisis or perceive yourself at risk of going into crisis.
Most importantly we want our clients to know that they aren’t alone, that there is support available for them night or day, whenever they might need it.
